"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you that John Tombs passed away this afternoon. Very peaceful and very dignified and with a nice glass of Merlot wine.”

We are saddened to hear of the passing of John Tombs yesterday, 4th March, following a short illness. He was an avid member of the club, and served more than his fair share of pints from behind the bar.

Funeral arrangements will be shared in due course.
